Steven Maynard

Steven Maynard is a member of the Department of History, Queen's University, where he teaches a course in comparative working-class history. For the past two years he has co-taught an introductory lesbian and gay studies course at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and is an active member of the Canadian Lesbian and Gay History Network and the Toronto Centre for Lesbian and Gay Studies. He is presently completing research for a Ph.D. thesis on gay history, masculinity and class in nineteenth and early twentieth-century Ontario.
