Brent Lee
Brent Lee is currently a post-doctoral fellow in the School of Music at the University of British Columbia and a researcher on the InterPARES (International Research on Permanent Authentic Records in Electronic Systems) Project. He holds degrees from McGill University (B.Mus. 1986, M.Mus. 1990) and the University of British Columbia (D.M.A., 1999). In addition to his research into the nature and challenges of preserving digital music documents, he is an active composer of orchestral, chamber, and electroacoustic music, and a developer of music educational software.
