Richard C. Berner
Richard C. Berner is University Archivist and Head of the Archives and Manuscripts Division at the University of Washington Libraries, Seattle. His Archival Theory and Practice in the United States: A Historical Analysis ( 1 983) has been widely acclaimed. He has taught many archival courses, held numerous positions in archival and library organizations, and published more than thirty articles, especially concerning archival arrangement, description, and provenance.
